Established in 2010 – Our mission is to provide an educational environment that promotes academic excellence and the development of good character in our students.

It is the vision of the school to be a leading and excellent educational institution in the country employing their passion and dedication in teaching the students with genuine and big heart.

Our History

The Aquinas de Escolar Academy Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit academic institution situated in Luwasan, Catmon, Sta. Maria, Bulacan. The school was founded in May 2010 by Emeliza Gravador Laurenciana. The incorporation of the school was made possible with the help of her husband Mr. John Greg Tagum Laurenciana and her parents Luisa Eugenio Gravador and the late Esmeraldo de Vera Gravador together with her siblings Peter E. Gravador and Christopher E. Gravador.

Ma’am Liza as known to many and the Board of Trustees of Aquinas are religiously affiliated persons that greatly influence Ma’am Liza to push her dream of having her own school at the age of 30, where she believed, God planned Aquinas for her. Their particular faiths and beliefs brought the school into its present state. For Ma’am Liza’s thinking, the birth of Aquinas de Escolar Academy might have not been possible without the perseverance and continuous support of her family. More so, with the divine intervention of St. Thomas Aquinas from which the school was named after.

The school was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in May 2010 under SEC No. CN201006865 and opened in June 2010 with 20 Pre-school students, and has been recognized under Department of Education Government Recognition No-E-040, S. 2014 for its Pre-Elementary Program, in 2015 under Department of Education Government Recognition No-E-039, S. 2015 for its Elementary Program and, Government Recognition No. S- 005 S. 2018 for its Junior High School Program.

Aquinas De Escolar Academy Inc. educates approximately 350 students in 2018. To complete the K to 12 education curriculum, Senior High School and, TESDA Training Center to will soon be administered under the direction of Ma’am Liza and the Board of Trustees.

As a growing milestone for Aquinas de Escolar Academy, Inc., a new three-storey building was constructed on a 1.5 hectare campus. The property was then known as Ma’am Liza’s heritage from her family where a significant number of academic facilities were built like a library, computer laboratory, science laboratory, faculty rooms for teachers, waiting area for parents, technical livelihood and education room, guidance office, clinic, audio visual room. A new and fully school gymnasium was built in order to give the students the best educational experience possible for the activities of the students.

Further, Aquinas de Escolar Academy went through certification last October 17, 2019 with the Philippine Education and Assistance Committee (PEAC). The rating given to Aquinas de Escolar Academy is 3.00 which means to say that the school is offering quality education over and above the required standards. Not only that, because the school is PEAC certified all incoming Grade 7 students will be given financial subsidy also the faculty through the Educational Service Contracting (ESC) and Teacher Subsidy Program(TSS).

Aquinas de Escolar is not only known in the community on its academic commitment to it stakeholder but also a cooperative and competitive school in the District of Sta. Maria and the Province of Bulacan. Linkages with the LGU of Sta. Maria, nearby schools, business association and churches were made. Aquinas participated in its entire social, religious and community based activities.

Also, Aquinas bagged one of the highest awards in the annual BULPRISA competition were the school made another remarkable history in the competition. That would mark Aquinas in the said association of private schools as one to look for every year.

To continue its legacy and its educational and professional growth with the help of God, Aquinas de Escolar Academy will continue to serve not just its community but its bordering towns as well. Hence, Aquinas will continuously be nurturing and building the ability of their students. Aquinas de Escolar Academy will always be committed to excellence in education.
